May 17, 2025 — Tencent Games and Garena have jointly announced the Arena of Valor World Championship 2025, boasting a prize pool of $1 million. The championship will feature top teams from Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Set to be hosted in Bangkok this October, the tournament includes a revamped competition format, with regional qualifiers leading into a 12-team grand final. The event will be broadcasted in 12 languages and streamed across YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok Live.
The move reaffirms Arena of Valor’s presence in the global esports scene despite increased competition from titles like Wild Rift and Honor of Kings.
